Rumor has it, once you step in the PAWn Shop, there is no coming back...
In the corner of a forest, a small shop opened quietly. In front of the store, they sold fruits and vegetables, cookware and utensils, repair tools and all kinds of daily necessities. The animals would drop by to buy what they need and scurry away. never even looking inside the shop. Only the animals in need of money dared to enter.
Once they entered, a deep voice across the counter would politely ask them to pawn their “coats” in exchange for money. The animals would then leave and buy what they wanted. But what happens after that? Are they satisfied with their decision? Are they ready to live without their coats? Come find out what happens in the PAWn Shop...

Noir Noir Shih (施暖暖), a full-time illustrator. She studied illustration at ESAL in France. Her works include children's books, picture books, graphic designs, comics, and product packaging designs. She is recognized by the 3X3 Children's Illustration Award in the U.S., the JIA Bronze Award in Japan, and the 2019 Taiwan Cultural Expo Award for the best cultural and creative works of the year.

Mona Lung (龍緣之), a teacher of philosophy, director of the Taiwan Society for Animals and Humans, and a representative of ACTAsia in Asia. She is the recipient of the Culture and Animals Foundation Award 2019 and has published academic papers in various journals, as well as articles on animal research, animals and art.
