A fantastical tale of longing for maternal love and awakening through gaining and losing.    The Little Monster has no memory of family. Ever since he can remember, he has been alone. After being chased away by other mothers for his pranks, he realizes: to other children, a mother means warmth, snacks, and a defender against the world. To the Little Monster, a mother is the missing piece of his soul.   Following the advice of the wise Owl, the Little Monster finds the legendary "Mommy Tree." He plucks ten fruits, and to his wonder, they transform into ten different mothers. Suddenly, his life is filled with the hugs and care he always craved. But when the mothers begin to discipline him for his past mischief, a rebellious voice rises inside him: "This isn't the kind of mom I wanted!"   That night, while the mothers sleep, the Little Monster quietly pours water over each of their heads. By morning, something unexpected awaits him.   As he wavers between "having it all" and "losing everything," the Little Monster must confront a difficult truth: Love isn't just about being pampered—it's about the messy, beautiful reality of growing up together.   Selling Points Universal Emotional Core: Every child has felt the tension between wanting unconditional love and resisting parental authority. High Concept Fantasy: The "Mommy Tree" is a brilliant, visual metaphor that appeals to the imagination of young readers. Award-Winning Recognition: Taiwan's most prestigious honor for early childhood literature—this book is recognized for both its educational value and artistic excellence.
