As darkness falls and becomes the creator's familiar workspace, moonlight transforms into silent music, inviting readers to board a dream-like night train. Step onto the night train and embark on a dreamlike voyage through the moonlit landscape of artistic inspiration.
Follow the rabbit as it races against time, entering the book's meticulously detailed pencil-sketched 'Moonlight' world—just like Alice after drinking the magic shrinking potion, everything on the desk and in the room has grown enormous. In this solitary yet magical world, the work desk transforms into a lonely island, and everyday tools take on fantastical proportions—a tape dispenser might become a grand ocean liner preparing for a voyage across distant seas.
Through poetic imagery and evocative illustrations, Moonlight explores the solitary yet magical world of artistic creation, where the boundary between reality and imagination dissolves under the gentle glow of moonlight.
Under the theme of moonlight's illumination, the black and white images connect together like a miniature fantasy film, playing out before the reader's eyes.

Shih Cheng-ting (施政廷) was born in 1960. He loves reading and drawing and his job is drawing illustrations and creating picture books. He has worked at home for almost 30 years which allows him to have the freedom of creativity. He likes to try different topics and uses different materials and techniques in his works. He has published several picture books and some of his illustrations, and has also held exhibitions. He won the Hsin-Yi Children Literature Award and his name has also appeared in the selected illustrator list of Bologna Illustrators Exhibition and Nami Island International Picture Book Illustration Concours.
