約翰・麥考密克（John MacCormick）是迪金森學院（Dickinson College）電腦科學教授。他著有《改變未來的九大演算法》（Nine Algorithms That Changed the Future: The Ingenious Ideas That Drive Today's Computers）以及《什麼可以被計算？》（What Can Be Computed? A Practical Guide to the Theory of Computation），兩書皆由普林斯頓大學出版社出版。
