作者介紹
作者Chris Young 出生於貧困的 Tennessee 州 Clarksville，他從小目睹家庭與社區中不斷的虐待、死亡與毒品氾濫。16歲時，因為打架遭停學，並加上鐮刀型紅血球貧血復發，他離開學校，轉而在幫派與販毒中尋求慰藉與收入。因美國的「三振出局法」政策，他因販毒被判終身監禁。在獄中，Chris 將心力投入到各種知識學習，從希臘哲學、歷史到程式設計、遺傳學無所不學。2021年獲釋後，他曾多次出現在主流媒體與紀錄片中，倡議監獄改革。
