📖由《Like a Sister》的獲獎作家 Kellye Garrett 所著,《MISSING WHITE WOMAN》被 Alyssa Cole 稱為「令人停不下來的頁頁扣人心弦之作」,

Michael Connelly

“Garrett is at the top of her game with this propulsive page-turner that interrogates the intersection of true crime fandom, social media sleuthing, and race in America. Sharp and incisive prose, tight plotting, unexpected twists, and a poignant exploration of friendship and family make Missing White Woman a must-read.”―Alyssa Cole, New York Times bestselling author of When No One Is Watching

"Kellye Garrett wows with her latest, a propulsive murder mystery that explores the dangers of social media. With relatable characters you can't help but empathize with and heart-stopping twists, Missing White Woman is a one-sitting read that should be on everyone's list!"―Mary Kubica, New York Times bestselling author of Local Woman Missing and Just the Nicest Couple

“Beautifully blending themes of victimhood, racial bias, and the sanctity of female friendships, author Kellye Garrett creates both a compelling heroine and a damn good murder mystery. In a genre that too often panders to the fears and desires of white women, this novel offers a sorely needed variety in perspective and an ending that even true-crime aficionados won’t be able to predict.”―BUST Magazine

“Deliciously twisty . . . A combustible cocktail of fantasy, reality, and social media rage fuels a new thriller. Garrett’s mastery of character and wry social observation shine bright in the eye of this storm.”―Boston Globe

"Missing White Woman is a compulsive page-turner with plenty of twists and turns you won't see coming. Kellye Garrett is a rising star, and Missing White Woman is her best one yet."―Harlan Coben, New York Times bestselling author

“Juicy but shrewd, Missing White Woman is arguably a thriller for the TikTok age, its issues contemporary yet timeless. Kellye Garrett uses her staccato sentences to build pressure ... [and] handles questions with depth and verve in this exciting new book.”―Elle

“Deceptive appearances, boundless speculation, and racial prejudices drive this twisty, chillingly relatable story. Garrett’s second thriller is a page-turning winner.”―Booklist

"Only a writer like Kellye Garrett could craft a tale so adroitly attuned to our everyday fears while also tapping the zeitgeist of infamy and identity facing all of us but especially black women in a world that so often puts them on the bottom rung of society's ladder. A fantastic thriller and amazing book!"―S.A. Cosby, New York Times bestselling author of All the Sinners Bleed, Razorblade Tears, and Blacktop Wasteland

“Clear- headed and opinionated, Breanna is a compelling guide through the morass. The troubling, eye-opening but still highly entertaining Missing White Woman would be a superb choice for a book club, guaranteed to stimulate lively discussion among the participants.”―BookPage
