Monkey lives on the second floor of Animal Apartment. He noticed that everyone’s apartment is clean and comfy but the stairway walls are covered in dirt, dust, hand prints, graffiti and scratch marks. What filthy walls!
So, Monkey asks all of his neighbors: Would you like to repaint the stairway? Everyone shares an opinion but nobody wants to do anything. Why won’t the neighbors help? Should he repaint the walls by himself? Or is he being too nosy?

Shu-Fen Cheng (鄭淑芬) graduated from Dingshi Elementary School and obtained a degree in Fine Arts from Chinese Culture University in Taiwan. She is a picture book author and teaches children’s art and picture book creators. Her published works include Traffic Jam, Sorry, Kuro, Who’s Knocking at the Door?, The Fox Pulled Eleven Teeth, The Dragon’s Out of the Water, Mommy’s Theater, The Secret of Bananas, Three Tree Friends, Fun Picture Book, and A Taste of Family OEM.
